As part of a research project through the University of Newcastle for which he was awarded a Master of Music Technology with Distinction, School Choir Music arranger Justin McCoy has designed a Music Technology programme to work with Stage 6 and Tertiary music students.
Composition and Performance students will learn specific tasks in the popular desktop music creation and notation system, Sibelius.
This will enable them to submit the required notated scores of their HSC compositions to a high standard, and complete specific tasks, such as lead sheets, transcriptions etc.
